How well do you take them? When someone gives you a compliment, do you say a thank you and let it go? Or are you like me and have to explain where it came from, or how old it is?
I've been listening to others and I'm not the only one with this weird problem. By why is this????

Seriously, did they need to know that? Really?
I do that! I used to be really bad about it - especially making excuses up for the compliment. Now whenever somebody gives me a compliment I really try to say thank you and then take a breath. It doesn't always stop me from going into a story, but it does make me think about it.
